Best Places to Get Married in Las Vegas

by Alli

There is something about Las Vegas that just makes you want to kick up you heels and say I do to someone you love. If you decide to get married in Sin City, you’re far from alone. Britney Spears, Elvis Presley and hundreds of other celebrities exchanged vows in the city over the years.

Las Vegas Weddings

Whether you feel the excitement in the air and decide on a spur of the moment wedding ceremony, or you plan a large ceremony filled with your family and friends, here are the best places to get married in Las Vegas:

The Neon Graveyard

Don’t let the name scare you off. The Neon Graveyard is less of a cemetery and more of a museum. The founders watched as the city changed over the years and as new neon went down and new buildings went up. They decided to salvage those old signs and put the signs on display for those who wanted a glimpse of old school Vegas glamor. You can now have fun walking through the exhibits and checking out the neon on display. If you love the Neon Graveyard, you can even arrange to have your wedding ceremony there.

A Little White Wedding Chapel

A Little White Wedding Chapel is the ultimate Vegas wedding spot for couples who want to exchange vows in the same spot where dozens of celebrities stood. Paul Newman, Judy Garland, Pamela Anderson and Stone Cold Steve Austin are just a few of the celebrities who chose this chapel for their weddings. It was also the site of the marriage between Mia Farrow and legendary Vegas performer Frank Sinatra. The neon signs, Cadillac car on display and bright colors outside will leave you itching to get inside and see what else this chapel has to offer.

A Elvis Chapel

While he didn’t marry there, the Spirit of the King of Rock and Roll lives on in A Elvis Chapel in Las Vegas. The founders wanted the kind of spot where couples could have fun and let loose without feeling stuffy or overwhelmed. You can select from a wide range of wedding packages and take care of everything you need in one convenient spot. The chapel can arrange for flowers, music, a minister and anything else you need. If you feel like going a little wild, you can even get married by an Elvis impersonator who looks just like the King himself.

Valley of Fire

Are you the type of person who likes the idea of a traditional wedding but wants something a little different? You might enjoy exchanging vows in the Valley of Fire. Named that way because of the intense and fiery red and orange colors found on the surrounding rocks, the Valley of Fire offers amazing backdrops for your ceremony and your reception. You’ll find plenty of local companies that can help you make arrangements for your reception and deliver food, furniture, tents and anything else you need to the spot you and your future spouse pick.

Wynn Las Vegas

It’s nearly impossible to think of Vegas without thinking about Steve Wynn. When this legendary hotel developer built Wynn Las Vegas, he made sure to include ample places for wedding ceremonies. You can get married in an elaborate ballroom decorated with amazing linens and gorgeous glassware, or you can head outside for a ceremony in one of the hotel’s gardens or for a wedding right by the pool. Hotels are a great choice for weddings because both you and your future spouse and all of your guests can stay on-site and have some fun at the casino before the ceremony.

Las Vegas is one of the best places in the world for a wedding. Where else can you win big at the blackjack table, get your hair done and hit up a few museums before the ceremony? Vegas offers everything from chapels to hotels for couples planning their weddings.

I actually DID get married in Vegas. By Elvis. I think if you’re going to go all the way to Vegas to get married, you may as well cheese it up and nothing says cheesy like a guy pretending to be Elvis, right 😉 I am so happy I did it and have the best wedding story ever.

I got married in Las Vegas 19 years ago. We were married in The Chapel Of Love. Not sure if it is even still there.

Getting married in Vegas has never appealed to me but that’s probably because I come from a very traditional Italian family. This looks like it would be so much fun!!

I got married in my hometown church, but I’m always amazed at how many people go to Vegas to get married. My niece went and loved it. Maybe she didn’t want us there! 🙂

We got married in a very traditional service at the church where we met. That’s a little more my speed. My goodness, they seem to cater to weddings there.

We got married in church, too, but a lot of people seem to get married in Vegas.

Yea, I thought that would be cool too. An Army friend on mine got married in Vegas a few years ago at the Stratosphere. I did mine on the beach with my wife, her best friend, my best friend and the offical who married us. No fuss, no muss.

How fun! When I was younger I did joke about a wedding in Vegas but so many people do it. I think it would be a blast!

I got married in Las Vegas, but it was a religious ceremony where we got married in a temple. I will say though that the neon graveyard is AWESOME! I know so many people that took their engagements there and they turned out awesome!

Some friends of mine got married in an Elvis themed chapel in Vegas. That was 20 years ago and they are still happily married! These sound like cool places.

I have always heard that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I wonder if that applies to weddings, too? Anyway, I think a Vegas wedding is different and could be a lot of fun!

I love Vegas! I could honestly see myself getting married there but it would have to be tasteful and non cheesy. Vegas also has great prices to get married cause it’s kind of like a one stop shop.

I always thought it would have fun to get married in Vegas but my church going mother in law would have died! I am thinking that a vow renewal would be better!
