Have you ever checked into a hotel, rushed to the bathroom to freshen up before going to dinner and realized you had forgotten to pack your toothbrush or toothpaste? Because you’re in a hurry, you call the front desk and they send you a hard-as-a-rock cheapo toothbrush and a tiny little tube of toothpaste.  I’ve been there, done that. When you’re entertaining overnight guest, make sure you create bathroom baskets in case they forgot something.

During the hustle and bustle of the holidays, your house guests will probably forget to pack key toiletry items.  To keep them from snooping around inside the vanity drawers that you forgot to clean out and reorganize (oops!), it’s best to create bathroom baskets for overnight guests.

Bathroom Baskets for Overnight Guests

When I was in Target® stocking up on Quilted Northern®, I also stocked up on items for my bathroom basket.

Call me crazy, but I always want to continue a festive, holiday theme for the guest bathroom baskets. I chose products in red and white.  I grabbed a little red basket from Target® to hold all the bathroom essentials, added a festive bow and a little note to let my guests know the basket was for them.

Don’t Forget Toothpaste

Then I headed to the personal care aisle for toothpaste and toothbrushes. Only the best will do for my guests.

Mouthwash is always a good choice to add to bathroom baskets to keep dragon breath at bay.

I added some bath products and headed home to put my basket together.

I almost forgot to mention that I found the cutest holiday gift tags in the dollar section (at least that’s what I call it) at Target®.

After arranging all the bathroom essentials in the basket, I added a bow, a little holiday greenery and I think it turned out amazing. I even added some red and white snowflakes from paper straws.  Who says snow can’t be red and white?

The holidays can be hectic enough without having to be concerned about bathroom routines.  After putting together my bathroom baskets and making sure my bathroom is stocked with Quilted Northern®, I can truly say that in my house, bathroom experiences are Designed to be Forgotten™. Now, if I just had someone to do the laundry and the dishes!
