DIY Sunday Showcase 11.15

Hi, everyone, and welcome to the DIY Sunday Showcase 11.15.

It finally stopped raining in South Carolina and the sun has been out for the last couple of days.  Actually, it was mid 70’s yesterday, so the hubs and I headed to the beach for a couple of days.  For me, the wind is too chilly to swim, but I did see some folks in their swimwear having fun in the sun.

Have you started Christmas shopping yet?  I think I’ve bought one gift. Please don’t judge! 🙂  I’m so far behind this year.  I guess I need to take a day and get it all done. And I usually have all my Christmas decorations up by now.  Yes, I’m that person who has her house decked out for Christmas while we are celebrating Thanksgiving.

Let’s take a look at the favorites from last week’s party.  I hope you find some inspiration for the upcoming holidays. I know I will!

I’ve always had a problem baking cutout sugar cookies.  I’ve had so many disasters that I actually posted about it once when I first began blogging.  I’m happy to say that I’ve finally found the answer to perfect cutout sugar cookies.  Thanks, Rose (RoseBakes.com), for your Perfect Roll-Out Sugar Cookies post.  This is the recipe I’m using next time and it’s my favorite from last week’s party.
