Homemade Caramel Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream

by Alli

Homemade Caramel Cobbler has a creamy caramel filling topped with a crisp crust. This easy recipe is one of my favorite desserts.

A couple of years ago, I hosted a Valentine’s Lip Sync Battle for 50 guests. My husband and I dressed up like Sonny and Cher, complete with wigs, and lip-synced I’ve Got You, Babe.

I think I went overboard flipping that long hair over my shoulder and holding my hand just right. Too bad I don’t have a pic. 🙂

We had such a good time and the highlight of this special night included dinner and a Homemade Caramel Cobbler!

You can see the first place winners below! They knocked it out of the park.

Valentine Banquet - Caramel Cobbler

I just love pink and black, so pink and black with a pop of gold made up the decor for this party.

I’d love to take credit for my Bubbles & Kisses take-home favor ideas, but I got the free printable here.

Bubbles and Kisses - Homemade Chocolate Cobbler

I ordered the hot pink organza pouches from Amazon and filled them with almond kisses. The gold foil matched my theme. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

A local catering company prepared the meal and they hit a grand slam with the food and the desserts. One of the desserts was a homemade caramel cobbler. It almost looks like an apple cobbler but there are no apples in this one.

Once you see how easy this cobbler is to make, it will become one of your favorite desserts as well. You probably have all the ingredients on hand.

During the baking process, this dessert transforms into a scrumptious, creamy caramel with a crunchy topping. Amazingly, it’s not too sweet, which is a good thing. I don’t like overly sweet desserts.

The next time you need a delicious dessert, you need to make this one. Be sure and print out my recipe because your family and friends will be asking for it. I promise.

What a fun party! The lip sync battle must have been such fun! I didn’t see a pic of Sonny and Cher 😉 Caramel is my favorite. I am not the chocolate lover that my hubby is. I will most definitely have to try this dessert!

What a fun party you hosted! I know you are bummed you didn’t take a picture with your dress-up clothing!! The decor looks awesome – the mantel and the color of the chairs and everything looks so pretty. I also love the free printables you got from the other website but that homemade caramel cobbler – never heard of it!! It reminds me of a peach cobbler without the peaches. I’m sure it tastes as delish as it looks and I love how easy it is to make.

I swear that I could smell the cobbler just by looking at the picture. It looks so decadent and mouthwatering. I definitely want to try it because it sounds so simple to whip up. Of course I’ll tell everyone that I slayed away in the kitchen for hours on end.
And your mantel is absolutely adorable and classy all in one. Love it! I wish that I had an eye for design.
