Vanilla Bean Banana Split Floats

We’re right in the middle of a glorious spring and I’m checking my calendar for the next big celebration. It seems like we have more family birthdays in spring than any other time of the year. That’s fine with me since I love any excuse to have a party.

Whenever I ask the family what they want for dessert, they all scream for ice cream, especially this time of year. With my family in mind, I created a Make Your Own Vanilla Bean Banana Split Float Bar.

Vanilla Bean Banana Split Floats

When it comes to making ice cream floats, I like to take a ride on the wild side. And since every member of my family has their own favorite toppings, I put out a spread and let everyone do their own thing.

Remember, it’s whatever floats their boat when it comes to an Ice Cream Float Bar.

Walmart has everything I need to make Vanilla Bean Banana Split Floats, including my secret ingredient, Blue Bunny® Vanilla Bean Blondie Ice Cream Cake.

This Ice Cream Cake really amps up the flavor and is the main ingredient in my Banana Split Floats.

Banana Split Floats

Vanilla Bean Blondie Ice Cream Cake is a new addition to the Blue Bunny lineup of delicious ice cream treats and flavors. You can find it in the ice cream aisle at your local Walmart or grocery store.

Whenever I create an Ice Cream Float Bar, I add other ice cream selections for family members that just want a good ole’ ice cream cone or a bowl of ice cream.

Vanilla Bean Banana Split Floats

I’m surprising all the ice cream lovers in my family with Blue Bunny® Mint Cookie Crunch and Monster Cookie Mash. These two flavors will be a welcome addition to my Ice Cream Bar.

My daughter, Caitlin, will head straight to the Mint Cookie Crunch and the grandkids will line up for the Monster Cookie Mash.

Maybe they’ll add them to their Vanilla Bean Banana Split Float. Remember, we’re taking a ride on the wild side. Anything goes!

In addition to the ingredients for Banana Split Floats, I like to include waffle cones. My guests are free to crush the cones and add them to their floats or use them to hold the delicious new flavors of Blue Bunny® Ice Cream.

Ice Cream Cones and Banana Split Floats

For over 80 years, Blue Bunny® has been creating scrumptious flavors of ice cream made with fresh ingredients. Whenever my family gets together during the spring and summer, I make sure to have plenty of Blue Bunny® on hand. It’s a fun family tradition!

When I was little .. every Saturday my grandfather and I went to A&W for rootbeer floats. That was back when they had the drive-up and you ordered through a crackly speaker. Thank-you for the memory .. made me smile

Yum, I love ice cream! Ice cream based drinks are popular in our area. I prefer shakes 10 times out of 10. My parents sometimes go for ice cream floats, they like fizz.
