Whimsical Easter Mantel – Easy and Inexpensive

by Alli

As a brand ambassador for Oriental Trading, I have received products or compensation for my Whimsical Easter Mantel. All opinions are my own.

Easter is right around the corner! I don’t know about you, but I’m happy to put away all the winter decor and replace it with bright, spring colors. I usually leave the Valentine’s Day stuff up the entire month of February. It’s the month of love.

This Whimsical Easter Mantel Decor is quick, easy and inexpensive. The best part? The kids love it! #OrientalTrading #ad

Once I wave bye-bye to February, I’m all about spring. Bring on the eggs, bunnies and all things Easter. Since I can’t find the time to do a total DIY Whimsical Easter Mantel, I rely on Oriental Trading for cute decor that won’t blow my budget.

The Centerpiece

When I’m decorating a mantel, I always find my centerpiece first and go from there. I like to add height and layers to my Whimsical Easter Mantel. Oriental Trading has the cutest bunny that’s perfect for my centerpiece. As soon as I saw Lily Long Ears, it was love at first sight.

Easter Bunny is the centerpiece for my Whimsical Easter Mantle

These Easter Egg Trees flank each side of the bunny and adds a huge splash of color. I really like these trees because the eggs are attached. That means less work for me. I adore the little picket fences around the bottom of these trees. It’s the little details that always wins me over.

Now it’s time to add garland and a few other pieces because the mantel looks a little bare.

This Easter Egg Garland is bold, bright and adds a nice pop of color. I layered it with a “Happy Easter” garland I had from last year. It’s adorable.

How about a few more whimsical bunnies from my stash?

My Whimsical Easter Mantel wouldn’t be complete without Easter Baskets filled with eggs. Oriental Trading has just what I need. The baskets are colorful and the eggs are filled with iridescent glitter putty. The kids will love these eggs.

I love how bright and colorful my Whimsical Easter Mantel is. The kids love it even more and that’s what it’s all about.

That Easter tree is darling. I don’t have a mantel in my house, but I have a shelf that I do like to decorate for certain holidays, so close enough 😉

That is darling! I don’t decorate for spring or Easter because it’s over so fast but my mom does. She has the bunnies and eggs and little chickadees all over her house. It’s super sweet.
You have a wonderful talent for decorating and crafting!

We don’t decorate much at all for Easter, especially not since my kids aren’t little any more. I have a sign or two in the yard and a flag and that’s about it.

Love the decor! This year for spring I’ve added some flower arrangements. I wish we had a mantel that we could decorate like that.

This is adorable! We are actually not hosting Easter this year since we are going on a little spring break vacation with the kids. But I did put a few things out around the house to make it feel festive.
