I’m singing Frosty The Snowman was a jolly, happy soul at the top of my lungs because this DIY project reminds me of Frosty The Snowman and it’s so easy to put together.
I’m showcasing one of these today, but I’m making several of them for a Christmas party I’m hosting on December 8th. Keep reading for easy directions!

Pinterest is my go-to when I’m looking for cute projects to try. I saw several of these snowmen on Pinterest and they are all adorable. However, I always put my own spin on things.
Frosty The Snowman
Here’s what you will need to make one snowman:
- 2 round glass fishbowls (I’m using one 8″ bowl for the head and one 10″ bowl for the body from Hobby Lobby). You can also use three but it will be really tall. I call them fishbowls, but I think the proper name is bubble ball vase. I found mine at Hobby Lobby in the floral department.
- Epsom Salt (snow)
- Mini bottle brush trees
- Other mini ornaments
- scarf (wide ribbon)
- top hat (Oriental Trading)
Clean the fishbowls (bubble ball vases) with window cleaner so they will be crystal clear. Add Epsom Salt to each bowl.
Add a festive Christmas scene (snowmen, bottle brush trees, villages, etc.).
Stack the smaller fishbowl on top. Add a ribbon (or felt) scarf and top the snowman with a top hat.
Wasn’t that the easiest craft ever? I think so!
I made several of these snowmen and used them for this party.
