Bahama Mama Mocktail Is Easy To Make

by Alli

I enjoy fruity drinks that remind me of a tropical island getaway. During the summer months, it almost feels like the tropics here in the Carolinas. My Bahama Mama Mocktail is just the thing for a summer cookout, a bon voyage party or just because.

If you like alcohol-free drinks, check out my entire list of mocktails

Bahama Mama Mocktail

My husband and I are looking forward to our annual Caribbean vacation. We try to visit a different island each year. We’ve visited St. Maarten three times! Since cruises are not my cup of tea, we always fly to whatever island we’re visiting. It’s usually a straight flight and traveling from Charlotte to the Caribbean is a breeze.

 Caribbean Island

On our last trip, we flew to one island and then took a small plane to our secluded destination island. I tried to find the wild flamingos roaming the small island, but had no luck.

So, a Bahama Mama Mocktail will get me in the vacation mood while I look forward to our tropical vacation.

Favorite Vacation Tip

Below is one of my 10 tips when planning a vacation.

Once our vacation is booked, I always introduce myself to the resort staff via email. I ask questions and let the resort know that I’m excited about my upcoming vacation and am looking forward to writing a few articles about their beautiful island. This automatically starts my vacation on a positive note.

How to Make a Bahama Mama Mocktail

For each mocktail, blend together pineapple juice, grenadine, orange juice, rum extract, and ice. Pour into a glass and garnish with pineapple or lemon wedges and cute little umbrellas. Because this is a cute little umbrella kind of drink.

Favorite Mocktail

If you don’t want to blend everything together in the blender, mix all the juices and extract together and serve the mocktail on the rocks. It’s good either way.

Make It Sweet

If you like it even sweeter, add a teaspoon of powdered sugar before blending

Since we don’t drink alcohol this cocktail is perfect. Loving all the fruit included in this drink. Now all I need is a beach.

I love doing these! The kid love these because they feel more “grown up”. I like them for me and I feel like the kids feel they are more included in a party!

I will have to make this for sure. I love sipping on mocktails when it gets warm out. I prefer mocktails since I’m a bit of a light weight.

This drink looks so good. I’m actually growing a few pineapples this year, I think this will be a great way to use them up.
