DIY Sunday Showcase 05/17

by Alli

Welcome to the DIY Sunday Showcase 05/17!  We’re so glad you’re here!

Got any big plans for the weekend?  It’s a biggie for my family; our youngest daughter got engaged Friday night.  I’ve known for a few weeks that her financé was going to propose, but I’ll save all that for another day. We’re beyond excited!  Let the wedding plans begin.  Secretly, I’ve been planning the wedding for a while now because I knew this day would eventually arrive.  Of course, I’ll keep you all in the loop.

Our first daughter had a big Cinderella fairy-tale wedding.  Our second daughter had a smaller outdoor affair at a beautiful Gone-With-The-Wind type home, complete with the big, white columns.  I do believe it was the  hottest day of the year! We’ll have to see what the baby daughter is planning.  For now, let’s get the DIY Sunday Showcase started!

Congratulations on your daughter’s engagement! So exciting! We were at our grandson’s wedding this passed Saturday. It was a gorgeous outdoor affair at Woodlawn Plantation near Savannah.

I’m in my element! I have to remind myself that it’s HER wedding, not mine. But we tend to think alike, so that’s good. 🙂
