DIY Sunday Showcase 12.20

by Alli

Welcome to the DIY Sunday Showcase 12.20!

It’s less than a week until Christmas and I officially finished my Christmas shopping on Friday, the 18th. Every year I tell myself that I’m going to start and finish early.  One of these days I’ll actually do it.

All the gifts are wrapped, except the ones for the grandkids that have to be put together. My husband handles that end and now I’ve moved on to planning my Christmas dinner.

Speaking of Christmas dinner, we do things a little different on Christmas Day.  We grill steaks.  Well, my husband grills and I make my delicious stuffed potatoes, a big salad, rolls and dessert.  Oh, and I make cornbread dressing (you say stuffing, I say dressing) because the family wants dressing and cranberry sauce even if we’re not having a traditional Christmas dinner.

Speaking of Christmas, let’s take a look back at the favorites from last week’s DIY Sunday Showcase.  But first, I’m happy to announce the winner of the $120 Christmas Giveaway.  Drum roll, please . . .

And the winner is Amy Orvin!  Congrats, Amy, and thanks to everyone who entered!
