Voodoo Pecans
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups pecan halves (Georgia pecans are best)
  • 1 T sugar OR Splenda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Mix together olive oil, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and sugar (or Splenda). Add pecan halves and stir together.
  2. Spread in a single layer onto an ungreased baking pan. Bake at 300° for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Cool. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 2 cups.
