Welcome, Happy Easter and DIY Sunday Showcase 03.27 wrapped up in one! Happy Passover (as my mom says) and happy weekend!
I’ve been cooking, baking and getting ready for Easter. A spiral glazed ham is always the requested meat for Easter Dinner. Sometimes I prepare two meats, but this year I’m going with a glazed ham. I’m also backing off making way too many desserts. Strawberry Cupcakes with Strawberry Lemonade Frosting will be a beautiful and delicious ending to a perfect meal. (I’ll share my recipe soon!)
The older I get, the more I like keeping my food and table decor simple, beautiful and homemade. It leaves more time to spend with the family and that’s a good thing.
Speaking of good things, let’s check out last week’s DIY Showcase favorites.
One of my favorite flowers is peonies. I’ve never tried growing them, but I will now that I know HOW to grow them. Growing Peonies is my favorite from last week’s party.
