My Tequila Sunrise Mocktails are the easiest and prettiest drinks you will ever serve. Trust me. It’s such a refreshing summertime drink. Be sure to check out all my refreshing alcohol-free mocktails!
Mocktails are all the rage! Whether you’re pregnant or entertaining, you should always have a mocktail option when hosting a party.
There is usually someone like me who doesn’t drink alcoholic beverages. Mocktails like these always score points with guests who choose not to drink.
Helpful Hint: I always use the alcohol-free grenadine. That way the kids can enjoy these mocktails too. Some brands do have a tiny amount of alcohol so make sure you check the label.
The first time I made Tequila Sunrise Mocktails for my grandchildren, they were mesmerized by the beautiful color and the refreshing taste.
I also served these drinks with appetizers for my daughter’s 25th birthday. You can find great birthday party tips here.
What is a mocktail?
Mocktails are drinks that are refreshing and contain no alcohol. Sometimes these drinks are referred to as virgin sunrise mocktails. Whatever you call them, they sure are good!
Even if you do drink, when you host a party, you should always provide a mocktail or two. I don’t drink alcoholic beverages so it’s nice to have a pretty drink made especially for me.
Simple Ingredients For Tequila Sunrise Mocktails
- Generous Dash of Grenadine
- Ice Cubes
- 1 measure of orange juice (according to the size of glass)
- 1/2 measure of pineapple juice
- Cherries and lemon slices to garnish
To make a Tequila Sunrise Mocktail, add a generous dash of Grenadine to a glass, then add the ice cubes. Fill the glass up with one part orange juice and 1/2 part pineapple juice.
Helpful Hint: A “measure” is whatever unit you’re using. If you use 2 oz. of orange juice, use 1 oz. of pineapple juice.
Don’t shake or stir the drink. Garnish with cherries and lemon slices before serving.

A “measure” is whatever unit you’re using. For instance, if you use 2 oz. of orange juice, use 1 oz. of pineapple juice. Sorry for the confusion.
