When I was growing up, my favorite sandwich was peanut butter and jelly. Who am I kidding? It’s still a favorite. Peanut Butter and Jelly go together like love and marriage.
Since I’ve cut way back on bread and stopped skipping breakfast, I created a Peanut Butter And Jelly Smoothie featuring peanut powder. It’s out-of-this-world delicious!
Update on Jif Peanut Butter Powder
Post Update: Jif no longer makes peanut butter powder. However, you can purchase PBFit Peanut Butter Powder. It’s all-natural and gluten-free. There’s also PB2. You can find them both on Amazon.
Smoothies Are So Good!
I love a good smoothie to start my day off right – after my coffee, of course. I once had a margarita mocktail for breakfast. Don’t judge! It was delicious.
Not a Breakfast Person
I’ve never been a big breakfast person, but in order to start my day off right, I decided to stop skipping breakfast and start drinking smoothies made with peanut butter powder.
The powder has the same amount of protein as regular peanut butter and is made with just one ingredient – fresh roasted peanuts.
There is no added sugar or salt. That’s why peanut powder is the star of my Peanut Butter & Jelly Smoothie.
Let’s make an easy Peanut Butter And Jelly Smoothie!
In a blender, combine one frozen banana, one cup of Almond Milk, two tablespoons of low-sugar Strawberry Jam, three tablespoons of Peanut Butter Powder, and one cup of ice.
Helpful Hint: To freeze a banana, I peel, slice and wrap it in foil or a zippered baggie and place it in the freezer overnight. It adds flavor and the right amount of chill.
Blend until well combined.

Just read another post about this. Never heard of it but going to try it. I’ve never been a breakfast eater but since I’m home almost all day I want to find things like this and keep me from eating junk.
I have done this with frozen strawberries. I have never thought of using jelly. I know my boys would like this. Great idea
Oh wow…that sounds YUMMY! I am going to have to try some of that Peanut Powder, and check it out to see if it is something that Rory could have on her specialized medical diet. Can’t wait to get to Walmart.

Oh wow! This is like a smoothie unlike any smoothie I’ve ever seen before! Just beautiful! Thanks for the recipe, I can’t wait to try it out!
This sounds rather interesting, I doubt that I would like it though. I know my hubby would love it and I definitely need to keep my eye open for the peanut powder for him.
I do love to keep frozen bananas. I keep seeing this Peanut powder and I’d like to try it! Your recipe sounds like a really tasty smoothie and smoothies are wonderful. I still eat pbj sandwiches 🙂

Yum! I bet the jelly made a great addition to the smoothie. I love peanut powder, and Im loving all of the recipe ideas im seeing lately 🙂
I love peanut butter but I’ve never put one in my smoothie! Looks so delicious though. Will try it next time!
Hey Alli,
This is insane. I was wondering for a while whether to call it a smoothie or a dessert. Sounds so yummy!
By the way, I know this is for Jiff’s protein powder but I use regular peanut butter or for that matter simply whole roasted peanuts in to my smoothies at time and they come out rather well. Also, the fats actually help in the satiety. I feel full much longer.
I am going to be making this soon. Have some home-made jam that needs using up. Thank you for the idea.
Cheers!
Peanut butter works fine, too! Hope you love it.
yummy yummy and more yummmmmmmmmmmmmm You know I think I have all the ingredients in my house I have got to try this. mmmm Thanks for sharing.
My kids would absolutely love this! Peanut Butter and Jelly in a smoothie form is something I never would have thought of before.
My son just asked me to make him another one. He loved his first PB&J Smoothie the day I created the recipe.
PB&J is so yummy, I think I’ll make myself a sandwich today during the storm. I can only imagine how filling that smoothy is and how much energy it brings to the day when adding banana too it. I will have to try this out because I never have time for breakfast, but right now I’m just too cold for cold drinks.
This looks SO good!!! I wish I saw this when I was stuck inside this weekend and BORED haha!
