My tween grandson thinks he’s way too cool for Halloween. I get it. He’s so sweet and cute, but his trick-or-treat days are pretty much a thing of the past. Yikes! I don’t look or feel old enough to have a tween grandson!

Ty is growing up fast and is constantly measuring his height against mine. I’ve still got him by about six inches, but he’s as tall as my oldest daughter and that makes him insanely happy. The day he gets taller than me will be a day of celebration for him.

Since Ty won’t be trick or treating, but still wants in on the Halloween fun, I’m throwing a little Halloween party with him in mind. I’m serving Spooky Orange Slush Punch with Orange Sherbet.

Spooky Orange Slush Punch will be the hit of your Halloween party! You'll need only 3 ingredients. Eyeballs and creepy crawly worms are optional

Orange sherbet is Ty’s favorite dessert. When Ty and his younger brothers come over, the brothers want ice cream, but Ty always wants sherbet, so my Spooky Orange Slush Punch is created especially for him.

Family Dollar is my go-to place to grab the ingredients for Spooky Orange Slush Punch. My favorite Fanta® Orange is all decked out in cool Halloween packaging designed by graphic designer, illustrator and artist, Noma Bar. Ty will love the artwork AND my Spooky Orange Slush Punch.

Helpful Hint: It’s best to scoop sherbet balls onto a waxed paper lined baking sheet and lightly push candy eyeballs into the sherbet. Freeze until time to serve the punch. The eyeballs have a tendency to slide right off the sherbet and into the punch if you don’t freeze them ahead of time.
