Summer is in full swing and I’m enjoying every single minute of my favorite season including working in my flower gardens. After a morning of gardening, I like to cool off with a Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Milkshake.
A few days ago, a friend dropped by and gifted me with two flats of geraniums. Wasn’t that sweet? I’ve been busy planting them in containers and now I’m enjoying the fruits of my labor.
To cool off after gardening, I like to whip up a Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Milkshake and enjoy the cold, creamy shake while sitting on my front porch admiring my beautiful flowers.
For me, toasted marshmallows scream summertime fun and this milkshake reminds me of toasting marshmallows over an open flame. So, I’m sharing my new favorite milkshake recipe and a few tips on how to make the perfect milkshake.
Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Milkshake
My Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Milkshake is so easy to make and you can find all the ingredients at your local Walmart.
COFFEE-MATE® brings unique coffeehouse flavors right to my home so I don’t have to make a trip to the coffee shop. I love how Reddi-wip and COFFEE-MATE® are partnering to broaden my milkshake flavors with easy, decadent milkshakes. It’s a delightful summer surprise that’s ready in an instant.
Ingredients You’ll Need For Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Milkshake
- vanilla ice cream
- Café Mocha Liquid Coffee Creamer
- whole milk
- Reddi-wip Extra Creamy Whipped Topping
- toasted Marshmallows
How to Make a Perfect Milkshake in 3 Simple Steps
Step 1: Set oven to broil. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and add marshmallows in a single layer. Broil for 1-2 minutes, rotating the pan as they brown. Watch closely because they can burn easily.
Use a high-quality, dense ice cream. I always go with the heaviest ice cream. If you’re ever in my local Walmart, I’m the woman in the ice cream aisle, holding two cartons of ice cream to see which one is the heaviest.
The heavier ice cream has less air whipped in so it will produce a creamy, thick consistency – just what you want in a milkshake.
Allow the ice cream to soften slightly – to a soft-serve consistency, but not runny.
Step 2: In a blender, mix together ice cream, COFFEE-MATE®, 6 toasted marshmallows, and milk.
Blend until smooth.
Step 3: Pour into glasses and top with a dollop of Reddi-wip and a toasted marshmallow. Don’t forget the straw!
Wasn’t that easy?

After working in the garden, mowing grass or anything like this a milkshake sounds wonder. Different from most milkshakes.
I don’t do dairy over here, so the recipe would be out. But I am definitely going to look for the creamer and maybe do an iced coffee.
Sounds like a delicious afternoon treat! I love toasted, well almost burnt marshmallows, so I know I’d love this with extra toasted marshmallows on top!
