How to Beat the Winter Blues with Sunbeam

This post, How to Beat the Winter Blues with Sunbeam® is sponsored by the Sunbeam brand. All opinions are mine alone #ad

Once the excitement of Christmas is over and all the beautiful decor is put away, it’s easy to feel a little blue. I’ve got some great ideas to kick the winter blues to the curb including how to relax at the end of the day with the Sunbeam® Renue® Neck Wrap.

5 Ways to Beat the Winter Blues

1. Try Something New

Wintertime doesn’t have to be boring! It’s the perfect time to try something new. What’s the one thing you’ve always wanted to try? What about knitting, keeping a journal, even joining the gym? Winter is the perfect time to try a new hobby.

2. Plan Your Summer Vacation

There’s no better way to rid yourself of the winter blues than planning your summer vacation. Get the entire family involved. Looking at photos of beautiful white sand beaches will get your mind off the cold, dreary days ahead.

3. Keep Active

When I bundle up and take a mid-day walk outside, I feel reenergized and ready to tackle the rest of the day. The sunlight and the exercise are refreshing and they help drive away the winter blues.

4. Eat Healthy Snacks

Snacking on nuts and other healthy foods throughout the day will keep you filled with energy and on the right path to keeping those New Year’s resolutions to live a healthier lifestyle.

5. Relax

At the end of the day, I like to make myself a cup of tea, snuggle up on the sofa and unwind with the Sunbeam Renue Neck Wrap. I work from home and spend a lot of time staring at my computer screen. By the end of the day, my neck needs a little tender loving care. I like that the Sunbeam Renue Neck Wrap is tailored to the shape of your body to provide targeted heat for maximum pain, tension, and muscle relief.

My daughter also spends her day working on the computer, so I invited her over to check out the Sunbeam Renue Neck Wrap. She was impressed with the adjustable collar, the custom design, and the 4 adjustable heat settings. Plus, it’s machine washable!

I think I’m one of the only people out there who LOVES winter (and dislikes summer!). Although I don’t really experience the Winter Blues (since it’s m favorite time of year), I agree with taking a vacation this time of year. I was just in the Bahamas earlier this month and it was great getting away for the -20 degree weather we were having here in Chicago.

I want one of those neck wraps!!! I am always cold and that would help get me through until the spring reaches us!

I always drag out my garden catalogs and start planning for spring. Work on catching up on scrapbooking those photos and of course curling up with a good book.

A little sunshine helps chase away those Winter blues. Maybe it’s the crisp cold air. Maybe it’s the extra bright sun beaming down but just getting out for a few always does the trick for me.

I got a therapy light…one that is 1000 lumens, and it really helps! I cannot stand the winter darkness!

Winter blues can be really hard to beat – it’s crazy how the weather can really take a toll on our overall well-being. I love the little tips you gave because they are not too unrealistic to fulfill.

I first experienced winter blues last year and it definitely effected my mental state. I think the idea of planning a summer vacation is great because it gives you something to look forward to.

I actually miss the winter blues. We moved to south Florida an now see very little “winter”. Our winters now consist of 65 degrees and everyone talking about how cold it is. Vacations are a must! That is the only way we survived winter in the past.

To beat the winter blues I take advantage of the warmer days and go outside as much as possible. But I do enjoy wrapping up in a warm cozy and reading a book when I can’t be outside

Oh my gosh I want this. I think its going on my wish list. Typing at a desk all day can really give you neck cramps so this seems really comforting!

I suffer from seasonal depression so I really try to come up with creative ways to fight the winter blues. Exercising and eating well totally help me, as does my brand new sun lamp!

I go outside & take a walk with my dog. My walks are shorter if there is snow on the ground but it helps to breathe in the fresh country air. I have been eyeing up that Sunbeam Neck Wrap!

I am right there with you on the winter blues! I like to stay active, getting outside when it is not too cold to go for a walk. I also love to daydream about our summer plans. I have not considered a neck wrap, that seems like a great way to relax!

I have seen some of those neck wraps before and it always intrigued me. Now I know better, and I think I need one. That is really going to help ease the tension and tight muscles on my neck and shoulders.

These are great suggestions. I battle with the winter blues every year. This has been really hard for some reason. This seems like a great way to relax.

Oh I definitely need one of those. I get bad migraines because of neck pain from a car accident and that would help relieve the tension.

Great post! I could really use one of these because I work online and my neck/shoulders get really sore! I don’t really get the winter blues because it doesn’t really get that cold where we live.

We’re so busy with basketball that I don’t have time for the winter blues. 😂 I would like a neck wrap. 🙂
