Helpful Tips
-
- Store tortilla chips in an airtight container in the pantry for up to 1 week. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
- You can also use white corn tortillas or flour tortillas. In my opinion, theyโre the best with yellow corn tortillas, but it comes down to preference.
- They cook best in one layer. If you overlap, it can cause undercooked or oddly cooked chips.
- You can use other oils or similar ingredients in place of the cooking spray if you prefer not to use it. The cooking spray helps the salt adhere to the chips, keeping them crisp.
