PEEPS® Pops Centerpiece

How do you use PEEPS® to decorate for spring and/or Easter?  If you need any fresh ideas, you’ve come to the right place, baby!
What the PEEP® Blog Hop

I know spring is right around the corner when I spot all the colorful bunny and chick PEEPS®.  My thoughts instantly turn to warm weather and Easter.  Yes!

Last Easter I did a candy display for the grandkids and I let them scoop up all the candy their little hearts desired OR until their goodie bags were filled to overflowing.  Hey, what happens at Nana’s . . .

This year I’m taking it outside with a garden party, complete with a PEEPS® Pops Centerpiece. I’ll be sharing my party later in the month, but I thought I would give you a sneak peek of the centerpiece.

Peeps Pops Centerpiece

What the PEEP® Blog Hop

Ingredients

  • 3 different sized cans, washed and dried
  • Craft paint in spring colors
  • Lollypop sticks
  • floral foam
  • Easter grass
  • Peeps, 3-4 packages of different colors

Instructions

  1. Paint outside of cans with craft paint. I used 2 coats of paint.
  2. Let the cans dry and using a hot glue gun, glue peeps all the way around the bottom of the cans.
  3. Place floral foam into each can to anchor the lollypop sticks. Cover the tops with Easter grass.
  4. Push lollypop sticks into the remaining Peeps and stick into foam inside cans, varying the heights.

Helpful Hint: I always use an indestructible/unbreakable centerpiece when I’m planning a tablescape for kids. It’s even better when it’s edible!

PEEPS® Centerpiece

For the smaller can, I cut all the lollypop sticks in half.  I cut a couple in half for the taller cans so that the heights would be varied.

PEEPS®

You’ve got to see my PEEPS® napkin rings before you go.  I used my trusty TP rolls for this one and hot glued bunny PEEPS® around the front and left the back unadorned so it would lay flat.  Isn’t it cute?

Don’t forget to watch for the complete tablescape coming soon.  It’s adorable.  And it all started with Peeps. Did you know that Peeps are gluten free and fat free?  Let the snacking begin!
