As a brand ambassador for Oriental Trading, I have received products or compensation for my Santa and His Reindeer Craft Party for Kids. All opinions are my own.
For me, Christmas time is all about making memories with my family and especially my grandkids. Sorry, kids, grandkids rule! 🙂
Side Note: Caden (the grandkid in the photo above) told me not to take his photo because his hair stylist cut his bangs way too short. I have to agree. What was she thinking?
Let’s face it, we may not remember all the gifts we received when we were growing up. However, the memories will always be with us.
One of my favorite things to do is to invite the grandkids over for an afternoon of holiday fun. I know what you’re thinking – all the extra work. I’ve learned to work smarter, not harder.
Santa and His Reindeer Craft Party for Kids
As a food/party/home decor blogger, it’s my busiest time of the year. I’ve also been hosting parties, decorating, baking and I need a break. Don’t you?
Running all over town for craft and party supplies is not my idea of fun. Add in the traffic and all the holiday shoppers and I get tired just thinking about it.
Thanks to Oriental Trading, I can pick out all my party/craft supplies from the comfort of my own home. A few days later, my order arrives at my front door. It’s so easy!
For my Santa and His Reindeer Craft Party, I served light snacks and then it was time to play. Aren’t the place cards adorable?
We made the cutest Reindeer Ornaments to hang on the tree. We also made Reindeer Sucker Covers.
Both of these crafts include everything you need to put them together. The stickers for the crafts are ready to go and you don’t have to use glue at all. That means there are no worries about getting glue everywhere and cleanup is a breeze.
Ta-da!
These reindeer mugs are perfect for serving hot cocoa and they also make great take-home favors. I filled them to the brim with candy. The mugs are huge and I’m impressed with the packaging. There’s no way these cute mugs will be broken in transit.
Oriental Trading has everything I need for a Santa and His Reindeer Craft Party. The kids had a blast and we have enough ornaments to add some to my tree and for the kids to take home. I admit that I made a couple of ornaments too. This party is too fun to sit by and watch.
Are you planning any holiday craft parties for your kids?

Yeah! You can find a host of great items at Oriental Trading. I used to go to them a lot when I was a choir director trying to get crafts to do with the little members for the Christmas holiday that they would enjoy. Yeah, you can definitely create an afternoon of fun from their stock of items.
I love Oriental Trading! I order stuff from there for my son’s school store all the time. They have an awesome selection.
What an adorable idea for a kids or family party. Love all the reindeer crafts would be a fun evening making these with the family.
Yes I love that place I order all my school things for the treasure box in my office. 🙂
I love these DIY’s, what a great way to keep the kids busy, and involved in the holiday! I am all about homemade over store bought! Even if Oriental Trading helps with the raw materials!
What an adorable craft! Sometimes the kids’ art isn’t always “keep worthy” but these definitely are a keeper!
This is such a fun idea! I love the reindeer crafts. I would love to make these with my kids.
I love Oriental Trading company. We have used their stuff for plenty of parties and events in the past, like my daughter’s baby shower.
What a fun craft to make with the kids. I love making holiday crafts with the kids and they make great gifts too!!
It looks like you had a great time making these! Crafts and DIY projects make giving gifts so much more fun.
Those raindeers are very nice and they don’t look over the top having so many of them around. I’ll probably try one of your DIY crafts here. Am not very good with DIY. = )
This Santa reindeer craft party is a really cute idea. The kids would have a blast making these reindeer Christmas ornaments. I love the reindeer name place cards and the reindeer mugs for hot chocolate. Thanks for sharing the craft and ideas.

Oh my! This is the cutest holiday party ever. My kids would enjoy this so much, love all of the great ideas!
What a sweet looking party! I see you filled the cups with Snickers. That’s my favorite candy. Did you save any for me?
This is such a fun party. I’m all for things that make crafting with kids easy and avoid the messes. I agree, these crafts are just too cute not to do with kids. Your little grand is starting to think of himself already (the hair) – growing into a cute little one!!
I have to say the mugs are my favorite! I wonder if I have enough time to order the lollipop covers – they would be great to give out to my sons’ classmates!
I’ve been a long time fan of oriental trading. They are the perfect answer to activities and party planning. We ordered a bunch of items from them for the fall festival. They were a hit. Some of my daughters projects are on our Christmas tree.
This is such a very creative party decor ideas. Kid and adults will surely enjoy it. I have to plan a party of my own once we finally move to our new home. Thanks for this brilliant ideas
