I’m such a morning person. I’m always up before the sun enjoying the solitude before the hustle and bustle of the day.
And the first thing I grab is a cup of coffee. Mornings are so much easier when I pop my McCafé pod in the coffee maker.
Alone Time
When my kids were growing up, I would relish that little bit of alone time – just me and my coffee. I think everyone needs a little time before getting the kids up.
Mornings are always smoother when I plan ahead.
Lunches were always packed and stored in the fridge the night before. School clothes were selected and book bags were repacked and hung by the door so they could be grabbed as the kids rushed out to jump in the car.
Now that my kids are all grown (where did the time go?) I still plan ahead.
My grown-up son is receiving his first single-serve coffee maker for Christmas, so I had to make him a coffee lover’s gift basket so he could enjoy his new coffee maker ASAP.
