    • 8×8 Baking Pan
    • Parchment Paper
    • 2 Medium Microwave-Safe Mixing Bowls
    • Rubber Spatula

Helpful Tips For Making Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge

Using a larger pan will make the fudge thinner and using a smaller pan makes the fudge thicker. The fudge will set quicker or slower depending on the size pan you use.

I have found that name-brand ingredients work much better in this recipe. You won’t get the best flavor if you use off-brand ingredients.

  • Store this fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, in the freezer for 3 months, or in a cool pantry for up to 5 days.
  • The parchment paper is a must. Just greasing the pan doesnโ€™t work. Trust me, I tried. ๐Ÿ˜›
  • If you prefer a stronger peanut butter flavor, simply swap out the vanilla frosting for 10 ounces of peanut butter.
  • The chocolate mixture will get thicker than the peanut butter mix, but thatโ€™s ok, thatโ€™s normal.
  • If your fudge comes out hard, too many chocolate chips were used. If it comes out too soft, not enough chocolate chips were used.
  • If you mess up the fudge, no problem! Simply break it into small pieces and put it back in the bowl and microwave it in 30-second intervals until nice and smooth. Donโ€™t forget to add your additions to the bowl in order to fix it, before melting it down again. Simply pour it back into the pan and chill it again. Itโ€™s important to note that if you melt it down again, the two colors of the fudge will mix together and no longer make a swirled look.

Variations of this Recipe

There are several variations of the chocolate peanut butter swirl fudge recipe that can be made by substituting ingredients. Some of the popular variations are:

Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge

For those who prefer a richer chocolate flavor, dark chocolate can be used instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips. The recipe remains the same, except for the substitution of dark chocolate chips for semi-sweet chocolate chips. The result is a fudge with a bittersweet taste that complements the sweetness of the peanut butter.

You can also use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.

Pairing Suggestions For Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge

When it comes to pairing Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge, there are a variety of options that can enhance the flavor experience. Here are a few suggestions:

โ€‹Milk

When it comes to Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge, there’s nothing like a tall glass of cold milk and it’s definitely my choice of beverage.

Coffee

For a warm and comforting pairing, a cup of coffee can be a great choice. A medium roast coffee with notes of chocolate and nuttiness can complement the flavors in the fudge.

Tea

Black tea with a hint of sweetness, such as a Darjeeling or Earl Grey, can be a great pairing for the fudge. The tannins in the tea can help balance out the sweetness of the fudge.

Other Pairing Suggestions

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Fresh berries
  • Nuts, such as almonds or pecans

Overall, the key is to find a pairing that complements the sweetness and richness of the fudge without overwhelming it. Experiment with different pairings to find your favorite combination.

โ€‹How to Store Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge

Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. It is important to keep the fudge away from direct sunlight or heat sources as this can cause it to melt or lose its texture.

Before serving, allow the fudge to come to room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour. This will help it soften and become more creamy.

When storing fudge, it is important to keep it separate from other foods with strong odors as it can absorb these odors easily. To prevent the fudge from sticking together, you can separate each piece with wax paper or parchment paper.

Make Sure To Let the Fudge Set Properly

It’s important to let the fudge set properly before cutting it into pieces. This can take several hours, so be patient. If you try to cut the fudge too early, it can become messy and difficult to handle.
