Two Ingredient Fudge Made With Canned Frosting

Easy German Chocolate Fudge calls for only 2 ingredients! That’s it. This no-fail recipe produces a creamy, chocolaty, decadent fudge that’s ridiculously easy to make. 

Whenever I start planning holiday gatherings, one of my fudge recipes will definitely make an appearance on my dessert buffet.

Ingredients You’ll Need To Make German Chocolate Fudge

  • Milk Chocolate Chips (I use the 11.5 oz bag of Nestle Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsels)
  • Coconut-Pecan Frosting (prepared 15.5 oz. can of frosting – I use Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Coconut Pecan Frosting)

Instructions For Making Easy German Chocolate Fudge

Line an 8×8 baking pan with foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray and set aside.

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl on high power for 40 seconds. Stir and repeat.

Once the chocolate morsels are melted, give it a good stir before stirring in the coconut pecan frosting. Stir until well combined.

Spread the fudge mixture evenly in the prepared pan.

Refrigerate for 35 minutes or until set. Lift the foil out of the pan and cut the fudge into small squares. Refrigerate leftovers or store them in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.

Other Combinations To Try

Once you see how easy it is to make fudge with canned frosting and chocolate morsels, you can combine your favorite flavors to make different varieties of fudge using the same ratio as this recipe.

How To Freeze German Chocolate Fudge

You can freeze fudge for up to three months. Wrap the fudge in foil and place it in an airtight container. Defrost in the refrigerator.

  • 1 bag (11.5 oz.) milk chocolate morsels
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) coconut pecan frosting

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8 baking pan with foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray and set aside. 
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips in the microwave on high power for 40 seconds. Stir and repeat.
  3. Once the chocolate morsels are melted, stir in the entire can of coconut pecan frosting until well combined. 
  4. Spread the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared pan. 
  5. Refrigerate for 35 minutes or until set. Lift the foil out of the pan before cutting the fudge into small squares. Refrigerate leftovers or store them in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. 

Notes

For this recipe, I use Nestle Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsels and Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Coconut Pecan Frosting.
