What You’ll Need To Make An Easy DIY Angel Mason Jar Gift

  • Mason Jar With Lid/Ring (or any similar jar with a lid like the one I used)
  • White Candy (homemade or store-bought)
  • Angel Wings (free printable down below)
  • White Cardstock (And Gold Glitter Cardstock, if you want glitter wings)
  • Gift Tag (free printable down below)
  • Baker’s Twine (to attach the gift card)
  • Gold Glitter Washi Tape
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • 1-Hole Punch

Products you need to make a mason jar angel

Fill a mason jar (or any clean glass jar with a lid) with white candy. Screw on the lid. Place glitter washi tape around the lid. Punch a hole in the gift tag and tie it around the top of the jar with the baker’s twine.  (I couldn’t find any mason jars around the house. I’ve hidden them from myself. This jar works just fine so it’s all good!)

Angel Mason Jar Gift Idea

If using the glitter cardstock, print out the angel wings, cut out, and trace onto the gold glitter cardstock. Cut out and attach to the back of the mason jar with a hot glue gun.

If you’re using a wider jar, feel free to cut the wings down the middle into two separate wings and space them farther apart on the back so that the wings will show more when you’re looking at the front of the jar.

Glass Jar with Glitter Angel Wings

If using plain white cardstock, print out the angel wings onto the white cardstock, cut out, and glue to the back of the mason jar. That’s it.
