Helpful Tips
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Do not leave this at room temperature for storage, or the bananas will get weird.
- If you don’t like sea salt, you can use whatever toppings you prefer. Sprinkles, chopped nuts, dried fruit, etc., are all great options.
- You can use your favorite chocolate, such as white chocolate, milk chocolate, etc., instead of dark chocolate. This is totally up to you and your preferences.
- The brand and quality of chocolate definitely determine the overall flavor of this treat. I use Ghirardelli, and it turns out perfect.

Chocolate Banana Bark:
Four-Ingredient Chocolate Banana Bark is the perfect treat! Sliced bananas and creamy peanut butter are topped with dark chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of sea salt.
Ingredients
- 3 Large Bananas
- 10 Ounces Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Coarse Sea Salt
Instructions
- Line an 11x15 baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the three bananas into ½-inch slices.
- Place the sliced bananas on the sheet pan in a rectangular shape, leaving some room on the sides of the pan. This doesn’t need to be perfect, but try to get the slices touching each other and you’re good to go.
- Once you have all your bananas lined up the way you like them, place the peanut butter into a microwave-safe pourable measuring cup. Microwave on high for 40 seconds, stopping after 20 seconds to stir before resuming.
- Pour the melted peanut butter over the top of the banana slices. Try not to pour it off the edges of the bananas; keep it closer to the center. Use a rubber spatula to gently spread the peanut butter over the bananas evenly.
- Place the sheet pan with banana slices and peanut butter in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- Before pulling the pan out of the freezer, place the chocolate chips in a clean, pourable measuring cup and microwave them on high for 2 minutes, pausing every 30 seconds to stir the chips, until they’re completely smooth when stirred.
- Remove the pan from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter and bananas. Again, try not to pour it off the edge and keep more in the center.
- Use a clean rubber spatula to gently spread the chocolate evenly over the peanut butter sheet.
- Once you’re satisfied with how the chocolate looks, sprinkle the sea salt over the top and return the bark to the freezer for 20-30 minutes or until hardened.
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
