Sometimes I’m so busy I seem to meet myself coming and going!  What about you?  Between party planning, dreaming up tablescapes, creating new recipes, photo sessions, webinars, writing, exercising and keeping up with my family and all things domestic, I barely have time to think about dinner. I need help!  A housekeeper, maybe? 🙂

Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking to the rescue!

Now that I can make homemade meals in less than 30 minutes, I’ll have a little extra me-time while my husband does the dishes.  Yes!

Speedy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti

The main criteria (besides tasting good) for my mid-week meals is that they must be on the table in less than 30 minutes.  Thanks to Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking, I can whip up a delicious weekend meal on a weeknight schedule. These soups have made my life a whole lot easier. They’re pourable and perfectly seasoned cooking soups to help you make meals in under 30 minutes.

My family’s #1 favorite meal (weekday OR weekend) is my Speedy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti featuring Campbell’s Savory Portobello Mushroom soup.

You can find it and 3 other flavors at your local Walmart.  These soups come in a freshly sealed carton, not a can.

Helpful Hint: Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking come in 4 varieties:

  • Savory Portobello Mushroom (great for skillet dishes)
  • Creamy Herb & Garlic with Chicken Stock (perfect for pot pies)
  • Sweet Onion (a savory addition to meatloaf and skillet dishes)
  • Mexican Style Tomato (great for Mexican dishes)

Of course, I had to have all 4 varieties. My 20-minute mini meatloaves will taste even better with the addition of the Sweet Onion soup.

Speedy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti

You know those tried and true recipes that call for cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soups? Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking can reinvent those dishes to make quick, convenient meals.

Speedy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti

My family loves my Speedy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti because of the taste.  I like that it all cooks in the same skillet, even the spaghetti.  You don’t even have to boil water for this one!  Clean-up is a breeze, too.  Here’s how easy it is to make my speedy spaghetti:

In a large skillet or dutch oven, brown ground chuck and drain.  Add Campbell’s Savory Portobello Mushroom Soup, spaghetti sauce and 2 cups of water.

Speedy Spaghetti

Bring to a boil and stir in spaghetti.  Be sure to break spaghetti in half before adding.

Reduce heat to medium-low and cover.  Simmer for 25 minutes or until spaghetti is al dente, stirring a few times during the cooking process.

Sprinkle with cheese and cook 1 additional minute or until cheese is melted.

The spaghetti is ready to serve!

These sounds really versatile – I love things that save me time! I bet you could do a lot with the mexican one…(I’m dreaming in Mexican food lately!)

This post is making me homesick! I miss US convenience foods. Here in Denmark, our product selection is limited and there are very few shortcuts available. I feel like I spend my life in the kitchen, but it has made me a better and more imaginative cook.

Amy April 7, 2015 - 12:43 pm

That sounds amazing! I love anything that’s full of mushrooms!

I have not noticed Campbell’s Soups for Easy Cooking yet. I am going to have to look closer the next time I’m at the store. Your spaghetti looks so good!

Betsy @ BPhotoArt.com April 1, 2015 - 9:59 pm

Fantastic! I love that you don’t have to cook the spaghetti separately. How clever. I need to try something similar next time I cook pasta. Maybe adapt this to use gluten free pasta and my homemade soup (since a lot of soups have flour in them).
