Cleaning the kitchen is not my favorite pastime. I can think of so many activities I’d rather be doing. That’s why I love one-pan dinners like Honey Glazed Roasted Salmon and Vegetables. This meal makes a weekly appearance at my dinner table.
Salmon is my favorite fish and is often referred to as one of the world’s healthiest foods. It’s an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, protein and Omega 3 fatty acids. I like it because it’s delicious.
My Honey Glazed Roasted Salmon and Vegetables takes only 30 minutes to make from start to finish. This one-pan dinner is great for weeknight meals, weekends and when entertaining guests.
Honey Glazed Roasted Salmon and Vegetables
Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 400º and quarter the red potatoes. (In the south we call them new potatoes – don’t ask me why. I have no idea.) Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. As you can see, I go heavy on the pepper.
Bake the Potatoes for 10 Minutes
Place the potatoes in the oven for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix honey, lemon juice, and olive oil together in a small bowl.
Brush the Salmon With the Honey Glaze
Brush the salmon with the honey glaze. Don’t be shy. Use it all and salt and pepper the salmon to taste.
Add the salmon to the pan of potatoes and cook for eight minutes. Add the asparagus (woody ends removed, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt and pepper) and cook for 10 minutes. The asparagus will be crisp-tender.
Helpful Hint: If you like your asparagus overcooked (insert eye roll for a certain member of my family), add it to the pan when you add the salmon.
One Pan Meals Are so Easy To Make
Did I mention that this is one of my very favorite meals? The salmon is cooked and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes and asparagus are tender with a nice crunch. And I only have one pan to wash instead of three. Yippee!
I’m embarrassed to admit that once dinner is cooked and eaten, I’m sometimes tempted to turn off the kitchen light and walk away. This may have happened a time or two. I’ll never tell.
It’s a good thing I found NEW Palmolive® Fusion Clean™ when I was shopping at Kroger. I’m so thankful to Colgate-Palmolive for providing me with free samples so I could add a modern twist on washing dishes.
Clean-Up Is Quick & Easy
In my opinion, baking soda makes everything better, so I love that Palmolive® Fusion Clean™ dish liquid combines baking soda and the fresh scents of lime.
My son-in-law walked into the kitchen when I was doing the dishes and asked what that awesome smell was. I told him it was A Modern Twist on Cleaning™ and helps me cook up a storm.
Because Fusion Clean™ Baking Soda & Lime and Fusion Clean™ Baking Soda & Grapefruit has an ultra concentrated formula, it loosens and dissolves 24-hour stuck on food.
If I do happen to turn my back on kitchen duty for a while, I can count on Palmolive® Fusion Clean™ because it’s specially formulated for tough cleaning challenges like my messy baking pans.
I do hope you try my Honey Glazed Roasted Salmon and Vegetables.
Remember to clean up that messy pan with Fusion Clean™ Baking Soda & Lime. Fusion Clean™ Baking Soda & Grapefruit is also available. The fresh, citrus scents are amazing. Which one will you try first?
