Thanksgiving Entertaining Made Easy

Entertaining Tips and Recipes

Thanksgiving Entertaining Made Easy was sponsored post for Cost Plus World Market. All opinions are my own.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I get warm fuzzies all over when I think about all the beautiful Thanksgiving Dinners I’ve shared with my family.

The food, the decor, and spending time with loved ones are some of my most cherished memories.

My mom was always the hostess with the mostess when it came to creating a beautiful Thanksgiving table.

I’ve learned so much from her over the years and I try to follow in her footsteps when it comes to Thanksgiving entertaining. I think mom would be proud!

Gold, copper, and a slightly muted orange are my color choices when I’m setting the table for Thanksgiving. I always head to Cost Plus World Market to find just what I need to create a warm and inviting tablescape.

You can click on this store indicator to find a World Market near you!

I get all nostalgic when it comes to holidays. This year, my very favorite part of Thanksgiving Entertaining is this stunning guest book! It’s a place for your guests to sign in and write down their thoughts of gratitude. This will be a keepsake for years to come! You can find this guest book here!

Guest Book - How to Create a Beautiful Thanksgiving Table

Mom always taught me that first impressions matter so I always make sure my porch is clean and inviting.

I like to keep it simple on the porch, so a few pumpkins, fall flowers, and a beautiful wreath adds just the right amount of fall color.

When I’m planning my Thanksgiving Entertaining timeline, I list everything I can do ahead of time. It makes things go smoothly on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Made Easy Planning Tips

  • I always set the table the night before.
  • Make all the desserts the day before.
  • Anything that can be done the day or a couple of days beforehand, I do it.

I love that wreath! Our house was somehow deemed the holiday house this year. Don’t know how that happened! Decorations are done and I just planned out the tablescape.

Is it ok to say that they’re all my favorites? I was trying to pick out one or two items, but as I kept scrolling, I saw something I liked. The table runner is fab.

I don’t decorate for Thanksgiving. Our table gets so crowded you can’t see much other than the food. This reminds me that I do need a new turkey platter though.

I am so excited for fall! We always have a full house so I like to make sure I have enough dinnerware for everyone, no one wants to be forces to eat with a spork on on a paper plate.

I have a few favourite Thanksgiving entertaining ideas. One of my favourite items is the Thanksgiving guestbook. I think this is a lovely idea that you could actually use as a photo album in the future. Another favourite idea of mine is the utensil holder. I think this is a fabulous way to dress up a table and to keep your utensils in place around the table.
